All Roads Lead to… Rhodes #Day 1
Travelling is a bitch
My wife and I are spending the next couple of weeks in Rhodes. It’s our first overseas holiday since we spent a week in Croatia in 2019. After that, well, Covid happened…
It was a four and a half hour flight to get here (a few bumps along the way, but nothing major), followed by another hour on a coach to reach our hotel.
By now it was after 11pm and we were both quite hungry. The guy at reception provided us with a lovely plate of cold meats, cheese and salad, and sat us in the restaurant, which we had all to ourselves. It was a great introduction to Greece.
It was a short opening day in our new home for the next fourteen nights, most of which was just the terribly tedious act of getting here.
But that part is over, and now we can just enjoy all that Rhodes has to offer.
